The second of the Distillery Edition series to be available online, No.5 is a Sauternes finished expression bottled at 53.3% ABV.

The Tullibardine Distillery Edition series is an exclusive range of single cask bottlings sold exclusively at the distillery. Each cask in the series is picked by a team member, starting with the longest serving employees.

No.5 was chosen by Greg Paterson, Senior Distillery & Warehouse Operator at Tullibardine. Starting back in 2007, he has picked a cask from that year as the next instalment of the series.

The lusciously amber liquid boasts notes of caramel, vanilla, and Scottish tablet from its time spent in ex-bourbon casks, while the final maturation in Sauternes releases aromas of white peach and ripe nectarines. An exquisitely balanced and complex dram.
